Hi everyone, I'm starting a new tropical garden from scratch. I'd like to get a canopy going quickly, but the small palms I have chosen (dypsis baronii, chamaedorea hooperiana) are slow growers. I'm looking to limit tree or palm growth to 25 feet or 8m max at maturity.
Can anyone suggest plants that will help me establish a small or medium canopy quickly? I'm looking to add plants like clivia miniata and vriesea hieroglyphica under a canopy.
