I recently planted a Muskogee Crape Myrtle in my back yard. I am looking for something to pair with it. I know yellow is opposite from purple on the color wheel. But I can't think of any ornamental tree (that also takes full sun) "and" has yellow in the summer. Any suggestions for a nice complimentary ornamental tree for the Muskogee Crape Myrtle to place in my back yard? I would want a tree and not a shrub.
