I planted ten raspberry canes last autumn and they were all doing fine until the last couple of days. One just seems to have stopped. It's not producing any more leaves and the ones that it has got aren't getting any bigger.
I have noticed that a root from a large pine tree runs quite close to it - could this be the problem? Is it possible that the tree is taking all the water and goodness from the soil in that area? Will the raspberry recover if I move it or is it too late in the season?
