Help identifying struggling ground covering

Hi-looking for help on this ground cover that's located just outside our front door facing west which has not been too healthy. I'm trying to figure out 1) what it is and 2) how to nurse it back to health. The first photo is for scale, the second photo shows the parts that are particularly struggling.

I’m not sure of the names, I have some of both of them .
The yellow green one gets tiered and you just need to pull it out . You won’t get it all and you will get good new growth.
I really encourage the green plant
