I have tried fencing and fox something or another at the store and every year I have the same problem. The squirrels don't leave me any berries. They seem to take them all on me before they even turn red! What can I do to prevent this problem? Thanks for any suggestions.

I've read on a few other sites, and maybe here also, that they really don't crave fruits and vegetables in their diet. What they are looking for is the water content in those fruits and veggies. That's why you will see one or two bites taken out of a tomato, and then left behind.
Maybe try putting some water out nearby for them, and see what happens.

I got two squirrels that live in my neighbors attic
Last winter that chewed up every red berry on my dog wood trees
Then the birds ate the crumbs all winter
It's all good

Our dogwoods are in bloom now,we have about 6 squirrels, 2 of them we feed by hand(raw peanuts in shell) and they don't eat the dogwood berries, but now there's a small flock of cedarwaxwings, and they'll think those berries and the missiletoe berries are like candy.
