Hi again. I posted earlier about my squash.

Any chance someone can offer an opinion on when I should be harvesting my onions.

I've read you need to wait for the leaves to mostly turn yellow (at least two thirds of the length). So I guess I should wait longer?

I get mine too when the tops fall over. Not always instantly but within a few weeks. Meadowlark does grow some good lookin onions. Mine seem to be a crap shoot between medium and small onions.

Onions die off firstly from the roots, & the reason they go over the way they do, is because there's no longer enough roots to take up water/nutrients.
Growth is all but over, so there's no point risking disease or bad weather by leaving them there.
Lift & start curing.
Welcome.
