Composting climbing nightshade (bittersweet)

we have the local council picking up green recycling weekly, is it ok to put climbing nightshade (bittersweet) cut up and put into the recycling bags, or if not what is the recommended way of disposal. this was planted about 5 yrs ago, but until recently it was not correctly identified, it is really quite a size, we will be cutting it down and digging the root out,

It will be fine. Green is green. The composting process will neutralize toxins. If there’s lots of seeds it might be better to compost it yourself so YOU can deal with seedlings, but other than that there’s no problem.
