Shibazakura Festival (Pink Phlox)

Hubby had a day off work today - so we drove out by Fuji and went to the Shibazakura Festival! I'm trying right now to upload some pictures to share with y'all, but it's a field of pink flowers of varying shades, with a view of Mount Fuji. It was a little overcast today, so the view of Mount Fuji is cloud covered, but it was incredible.

these are the low growing type. hummmm wow, how many planted? and how many in a crew to do that job.
