Wondering what you all think of them?
I just bought a little Pothos with a self watering pot. The pot is more of a shipping system. They have a few pots in a carrier. They just fill the carrier with water. Looks to work great for shipping. Still have to buy another pot without a hole in it to make it work for me.
I dumped the self watering pot. Put it in one of my terra cotta pots I already have.
It only cost me $8.98. I know, I know. I could have gotten a cutting from somebody instead for free. I didn't want to bug somebody.
I was just watching a so called expert out of Sweden. Calls himself an indoor gardener (professionally). He said these self watering systems work good. With my Pothos. Said they work great for Pothos. Can even grow them in water. But! He said they're happier in a conventional pot with a tray. Let them dry out before watering again.
