How many coats does it take....getting there slowly, roof strengthening noggins fitted...I will make the staging and prep ready for glazing next week

and the Heavens opened...Grrrr rain stops play for today...so glad its well coated with preservative but would have liked to have got the roof window slips and stops fitted....another day perhaps

Glazing has begun - this evening I started on the roof section. I need to seal all off and attach the fascia's and complete the guttering before moving downward.

Ordering these for the gable end Finials....The Green Man...reminds me of a pub I used to frequent lol

50% Glazed now, Took a little time out today to visit The Secret Garden (Dundonald Nurseries) had a lovely lunch and came home with this beautiful (good size) mauve Rhoddendron bush....for transplanting into the border near to the pond. (bought a few more fish as well lol)
