Making a traditional Glass Greenhouse from scrap timber.
I built this last year 2016 after the demise of my flimsy aluminium structure succumbed to strong winds.....Just thought I'd share my exploits with the group from my Facebook album...I hope you like it as much as I enjoyed building it

First Panel finished complete with initial coat of Cuprinol Forest Green wood stain (needs another coat)......Window back slips fitted

Wow you are moving right along! I can't wait to see it.
I'm going to turn my sunroom into a greenhouse I think. I love the idea of it.

A second coat of preserve on the first side panel, looks a lot better, I will give it a third though.....The second panel to the right will have an opening window for ventilation rather than on the roof.

Still quite a lot of timber work before I can glaze and fit the guttering etc..at least the roof is on lol..a little bigger than I'd envisaged from the plans in my head.....

Very nice. You mention glaze, are you going to use real glass?

All the alignment spars have gone, Freestanding...still a lot of work to be done...slowly but surely it's comming together now.

Door hung and given another brush over with wood preserve...Not happy with this One Coat business....its had about 4 already and I'm not overly happy with it....I may buy something more expensive if its going to be of a thicker consistency and cover better.....
