Radishes and Butterflies

I planted a lot of radishes over the summer and then got tired of eating them. I left them in the garden and let them go to flower. I noticed they were attracting quite a few butterflies. Has anyone ever used radishes in their butterfly garden? I'm wondering if they are a host to any species. Does anyone know? If I had left them long enough, would they have re-seeded and given me yet another wave of radishes this summer?

I have never used Radish as a host plant, but various members of the Peiridae Family (Whites and Sulphurs) will use Radish as a host plant.
