This is my first year growing pumpkins. I have about 5 that are at varying growing rates. I was wondering when to pick them. We want to have them to carve for halloween. We have 2 that are a bright orange and the others are green/orange. How long do they hold (untouched) when pulled from the plant? Thanks in advance!

I'd leave them till nearer halloween, unless you get early frosts where you are. Most Squashes will keep well if you can keep them frost free.
