Pumpkin foliage pruning question

Hello,

I have one, yes one, pumpkin ripening nicely on a plant.

The foliage is all slowly dying back as the pumpkin is almost reaching its nice blue colour.

Would it aid in ripening if I was to remove some/all of the foliage?

I wouldn't...just let it ride. I noticed you are zone 10b...good job as I have found it difficult to raise certain pumpkins beyond zone 8. What type it is?
