That is too freakin cool but I think it deserves a more exotic planting scheme :)

I agree. I wish I had more room because there is someone selling a clawfoot tub here locally.

It is way freaking cool. :ROFLMAO: I love the bathtub and the watering cans. (I would have taken the spout off one of the watering cans, and had a trailing plant "flowing" out like water!!) I love re-purposed stuff, I am forever looking at things and saying, "Wouldn't it be cool if it could do this...?"

I agree with BigC, if the price is right, get it. If nothing else, you could put it in front of that bench I see in the first picture, and have a place to set your wineglass while you relax in the yard! ;)

Thought about you when I saw a lovely plant stand yesterday on my way to work. (Yay!! It's yard sale season!!.)

Hi guys, gosh I have been busy! I got this lovely find at a resale shop and now I am looking at pots. Do you have pictures of a container garden? I'm trying to decide between getting all different colors and shapes of pots versus doing all 1 kind. Here is what I have so far. I still have to do the floors, I plan on painting them a creme color.
Anyway I am looking for container garden pictures? Hugs to you all for the help!

I do not have any pictures, but I will go looking to see if I can snitch some!! :ROFLMAO:

If it were me, I'd go with all different shapes and colors, but my tastes are a bit eclectic. ;) I also like re-purposed things, so I'd hit up thrift stores and yard sales. Maybe looking at things that could be a pot, not just looking for pots!! (Kind of like the watering cans...)

Are you artsy-crafty? Handy with paint or know how to decoupage? Maybe got a talent with sewing notions and a glue gun? You could always buy some that match each other and then make them slightly different. (y)

I would be more likely to find a pot to suit each plant. Maybe all different shades of the same colors... I like purples and shades of turquoise... It's hard to give advice when I don't know your style, or if you want a certain color as an accent in that room.

Ooh, ooh!! I found a theme!!

Bet you could find some old tea pots! :)

And the teas to go with it! ;)

Then you'll need cups, I suppose.

Cupcakes, anyone?

Maybe tuck something really offbeat into a corner and see if anyone notices! :ROFLMAO:

Ok so update. I got the roof fixed (I hope), I got the floor stripped of paint and caulk, I have painted some of the pots, and I dug trenches yesterday to caulk the outside.
My hands are all torn up and my butt hurts from sitting on concrete for hours but I'm really hoping it'll be worth it when I'm finished.
I've decided to paint the floors with a latex porch and concrete paint. Has anyone had any experience with this?
Wish me luck or send me wine!

How to caulk: Run a smooth bead of caulking along the wall.
How I caulked: Goop a crap ton of sealant on the wall and smear with a putty knife. Try and make it look like a drunkard was icing a cake while making sure to smear it on your arms legs and even your right ear.

Got lights and curtains hung and most of my pots painted. I have to wait on the floor since the roof is still leaking.
Now the fun begins though, I get to fill all my pots!!
So far I've got a white bird of paradise, 2 vincas, and some liriope.
