Local nursery has some left over potted 3 gallon roses. I was thinking of picking some up and planting them now if they will survive?

Im also looking for a good source of yellow roses. Years ago we had a yellow rose with a fantastic sweet smell.
Been looking for a replacement for sometime now.

Yes, they should do well with Fall planting. Plant in full sun on a slight mound. If grafted, the graft union is best planted below the soil line in colder climates. In any case, mulch thickly. In Spring, the mulch layer should be thinned back.
