Winter rye went down tuesday and is already sprouting.Reference your prior postings on soil tests...your veggie space should now be covered in winter rye and some legumes. That investment will pay big dividends next spring.
That's great, so presumably any fall planting will be in another location. For edibles, you might consider fruit trees, and berry bushes though again, planting now or in Spring may not make a huge difference. Theres not much going in the “garden” until the soil and PH are in better condition. So all that will happen in the spring. Im trying to rejuvenate some areas of the yard that have been neglected also lost a lot of older plants to a few droughts in the past few years.
