Plant suggestions

Hi
Need help to find plant ideas for a friends garden memorial it's over grown with forget -me-not at the moment but I'd like to replant it has anyone got any suggestions of what to put in there it six foot square like things for colour all year round and not too expensive lol

Hello Sallyann
Lavendar would fit the bill....aromatic foliage, evergreen and smothered with blue flowers in summer. Similarly, nepeta. Combined with silver santolinas. Osteospermum too if its not too cold there. Maybe a grass like elymus magellanicus....this is "evergreen" with glaucous blue foliage.
Consider too garden pinks....colours from white to pink to red to purple. And the fragrance is wonderful.
Less is more I think.....lavendars and pinks would look good and be pretty cheap
