This year, I planted numerous peppers both in my raised beds & in buckets.
The plants in the buckets are MUCH bigger.
My brother-in-law said he did the same with the same results.
They are in the same growing soil.
Any ideas why this happens?
My only thought is that the buckets retain moisture better...

Not the moisture, its the soil temperature. It is warmer in buckets especially if they are a dark color.

My Peppers got tall last year in Buckets but didn't produce. I was using Miracle-Gro.

This year they are in my Garden still tall but producing.

This year I have Tomatoes in Buckets and I think some are Root bound planted in Happy Frog but planted some in Sunshine 4. They are doing well but not so Root Bound.
