Those are gorgeous!! How do I grow them like that?? I live in southern California in a desert climate that is usually at or above 100 degrees for a good part of the year. Can I grow these in this kind of climate??

Ta :) Probably best if you try autumn planted sets if they're available over there, think it might be a bit too hot for a summer crop.

Looks like a draw between Tetters and I with the big onions, one weighed in at 302 grams...

We'll be eating the big onions first as they don't store as well as the regular onions.

I haven't lifted mine yet, as I'm in Scotland until a week on Sunday.
I must say that I expect to exceed 700g with at least 4, if nothing amiss happens in the meantime.

We've dried the rest of the Kelsaes and Showmasters as they weren't keeping very well.
