I am thinking I want to use Blackjack Bermuda seed for the spots in my lawn and over time just keep using it. Currently the sun areas are common bermuda. I am not using sod or plugs. This is a country lawn with a pasture next door so museum quality lawn efforts are not only wasted they are dumb. So I was wondering about other seeded varieties anyone might suggest. The re-plugging of my existing ST Augustine continues in the considerable shade areas (Here is a plug for the pro-plugger), and the fescue and centipede that I have are being depreciated out. I have to reseed fescue no matter what so I am aiming toward a St Aug shade - Burmuda sun maintenance. Tapestry lawns are almost impossible to weed but it was a fun experiment.
