Butterworts (PInguicula) in the Bladderwort Family (Lentibulariaceae) are fascinating plants. Their sticky sticky leaves trap some small insects for digestion, while their dazzling flowers entice other larger insects for pollination. The two events are kept well-separated by a long peduncle (flower stalk).
