My experimental cantaloupe

Gee, I'm proud of my cantaloupe. It was actually an experiment. We had this sweet cantaloupe and I asked my husband if it's okay to plant the seeds. He just smiled. Hmm, I was challenged so I planted some seeds in the backyard and when the vines appeared, it looked like a cantaloupe patch. The first fruits was eaten by a mouse maybe and the second was also eaten, both are small.

Now there are 2 fruits and one is in the vine that is climbing the post of our dragon fruit. Here is the pic -

Wow, it looks really great! Growing new things can be so exciting:)
I've never eaten cantaloupe, but I often see it in my local supermarket, so maybe one day I'll try it:)
