Any idea what thsee yellowish spots are? We Had a lot of rain last week, so that was my first though. But it's not the entire vine and it's been dry since Friday.

No one? It seems to be spreading, but the plant is still pushing out new and healthy looking leaves. Is this just the older sections dying off? Anything to worry about? I have 2 melons I hope to harvest before long.

Mine tend to do this in hot weather at the end of the season. As long as you have good new growth, I wouldn't worry.

Well, I ate one melon. That one was pretty good, the second split on the vine, so it was a loss. There is growth, but no more melons at this point. Several smaller ones seemed to root in their infancy and didn't make it past grape size. The spots are spreading as well. I may rip it out and be done for this year, is getting crowded back there anyway.

Mine turns yellowish at the base but all green on the vine..I might not have any this year because for almost a month no female flowers and plenty of males..
