A pompon! Soooo glad that you've picked up the thread again. I will contribute to it. Probably more in one or 2 weeks times. I love that two-tone dahlia that you have. The front and back of the petal show different colours. How do they manage to do that? Nature is such an enigma! Don't you think and we are blessed to be able to see these beauties in millions of pixels.

Lovely color you have!

The heat makes the leaves wilt, but they pick back up in the evening.
I have several new ones this year that are about to bloom, I can't wait to see what they look like.

@johnny canoe Love your dahlias. The cactus are so lovely. I bought tons of seeds cheap ones from China and the flowers were so boring. I keep stumbling upon the seed packet and yet don't have the heart to throw the seeds away. It's like throwing my own babies away!

@Upsy Daisy - you have such a lot of blooms and your flowers are lovely. They look not thirsty at all. All look very healthy. Love the first one.

I did post mine. Well, I do have something exciting coming. But as usual, my labelling has been my downfall.

Yes. When you have more than one thread going and everything opened, it does occur. I am not going to slap your wrist as it happens to me quite a few times. Can't really post another one as I had to retrieve this one from my 3 thread. Keep my fingers crossed that I will have more flowers soon.
