I'm pretty sure that he's serious. (y) We do send seeds all over the place. :)

Never be afraid of failure when growing plants. They're very forgiving.

OK. Let me give it a try. Some reason to add a spring in my step! :)

Wait a minute. I only the 3 leaf clover plants. Not a single tomato plant. Are they hiding there? That tomato looks delicioius.
Mine have started flowering but it will take time for them to yield.
What is the size of the tomato?

How did I miss this thread

I have them growing and was part of the 1st group that had the seeds with Zig and Sheal it was a worrying time as manged to grow 3 plants but one died after a week as the seed capsule wouldn't come off.

So thinking back this is my 3rd year growing them. How time passes so quickly...

They have just started to turn red so I will post a couple of photos , I really like them .....I like the flavour , I had given some plants to 4 people in work and we had a competition in the office.: ONLY for Manx Marvel tomatoes.

and tomato the judge's would like to take home

we even set up a judging panel with 3 people., and marking sheets with a independent person to calculate who had won what .
It was great fun ... and the whole office thought we were crazy but quickly wanted a taste !! and any spares going.

So pleased to know the seeds are getting out and about across the World.

:D About the size of a golf ball, maybe a bit bigger.

Tap the stems with the flowers on to polinate them :)

Zigs sent me seeds and I am happy to say many of the plants are thriving - I have only used half the quantity of seeds that I got. They have started flowering and hoping they will give me tomatoes too :)

Won't be long now Grouie :)

Let them ripen on the plant for the best flavour :)

It'll help if you can give the plants a liquid feed too

My soil has compost which I prepare at home. I am hoping it will give the desired results.

With respect, compost isn't a fertiliser, it's a growing medium. An excellent growing medium.
It may also have some nutrients in it, but that isn't necessarily the case, and, since tomatoes are greedy feeders, there are unlikely to be adequate nutrients in it.
If you have it, woodash and dilute urine are excellent.
