I have created iPhone application to identify house plants and most common tropical&subtropical ornamentals.

It is designed to help identify or browse house plant types using their visible features. For example, plants can be searched using details such as flower color or size of the leaves.

You can check it here: https://itunes.apple.com/app/ultimate-guide-to-house-plants/id681110470

What do you say? Is it useful for you?

This sounds really good:) Every day, I see so many plants that are new to me. In the past, before I received my very first miniature rose, I hadn't been interested in gardening. I will give your application a try:)

Awesome, it seems they're creating an app for everything you can ever imagine nowadays :D I might definitely get this one in the future! Not now since I have only just a couple of plants left, and I know the names of most of them already

Think its a great idea, and that it would be especially useful for people when visiting garden centers and nurseries - not only for identifying plants but also for making sure that the plant of choice, was going to be living in the right environment.

Thank you for the feedback! :)I have a plan to create the database not only for the house plants but for the outdoor flowers and trees. It should be even more useful.

How interesting, plant identification software is an excellent idea. I come across interesting plants all the time and I need more then just google to find them out.
