Hi all, I had this plant for almost 15 years and suddenly it decided to blossom (?). Does anyone know the name of the plant? I want to know what will happen next.

That looks like an agave plant. Yucca plants boom every year or two. Agave plants boom once and die or at least most varieties do. Maybe yours is a yucca.

Yeap... It looks exactly like that. It will probably die afterwards then. Sad but amazing last show

Luckily for you it will probably produce lots of sideshoots before it dies completely and you will have lots to give away or spread around the yard. You can see several of them peeking out from underneath the main 'head'.
