thanks. but i don't feel comfortable doing this at the moment, as leaves are starting to come off again. but it's unlikely to be too pot bound just, i wouldn't think.Anytime one is in question with the state of a plant, very gently tip the plant out of the pot and look at the roots. If the pot is full of excess roots you will need to up-pot into a slightly larger pot. If the roots are very small and mushy you need to wait more time between waterings.
thanks. and sorry, i didn't see your message before. this is tricky, because i can't put it in the window it was in in the summer, as it gets a lot of condensation overnight, and also it's right above a radiator. i think i will have to move it into my back room, which has more light and less condensation. so it's a bit warmer too. i still won't be able to put it in the window, because of the radiator. that room needs a lot of sorting out, so i will have to get on with that tomorrow, so i can figure out where is the best spot. i so hope i can save this plant, it's really not happy.I thought I had read your post before, but went back and read it again. THEY NEED MORE LIGHT!!! As far as they are from the window, they might just as well be in a closet. While you might think it’s ‘bright, indirect light’, the reality is it’s dim, insignificant, barely illuminating glow. More than 4’ from a window is low light as far as photosynthesis is concerned.
Hoyas can tolerate 5*C and survive -1. Put it back in the window.
