How are your greenhouse residents doing?

I wanted a wooden greenhouse but they are so expensive compared to the aluminium ones....

To replace that greenhouse it would cost about £6,000 ($9,000). In real terms, it was comparatively much cheaper when we bought it 40 years ago. I've just used the on-line inflation calculator and, in todays terms, the greenhouse would have cost £2,250

Yes replacing the beams is definitely the cheapest option to do, and wooden greenhouses look so good.
