I am looking for fruit trees in the Fl area websites that are cheap thanx again

Welcome to the forum. Looking for cheap trees is exactly what you will get, cheap trees. There are different thngs to look for when buying a tree and I would not buy a fruit tree sight unseen from any seller. Go to a reputable local nursery and talk to them about your needs.

I like indiana berry but it's more for farther north, but their figs for example would do well, and everything is an excellent price, if sized accordingly.

Whitman farms has some hard to find varieties

Local nurseries are often better deals if you want a large plant but you can't find everything online.

Best time to decide on fruit trees is to visit a garden centre or your local nursery when the fruit is on the trees and taste them. Take notes then go back in the dormant season and buy what you decided on. As my late Dad used to say - Buy cheap get cheap results.

Unless it's a berry plant I've never seen mature fruit on a fruit tree at a nursery

@gardeningisfun In Fla, you need to do your research on low chill varieties. Buying on lowest cost is NOT a good idea as you may well get stuck with a tree that will never produce fruit in Florida let alone survive.

There must be a lot of apple scrumping going on where you live MM. My suggestion is based on an article in my gardening magazine which helped me pick my apple trees.

I think mangos, bananas and coffee are all low chill, but this is definitely important for apples, pear, blueberry, I'm sure many others, idk i get plenty of chill.

And @gardeningisfun, i don't have any suggestions other than whoever coined the ice cream banana knows how to market. And figs are amazing. And my sister spent some time in Bolivia and not all mango are created equal. Robusta coffee might be easier. Oh and i always wanted to grow atemoya or cherimoya. And i once had a Mexican friend say the fruit he missed most was mamey sapote. But i can't recommend vendors for plants i can't grow. Why the citrus hate? Or are you growing enough
