I’ve had a hobby of growing (on a small scale ) unusual begonias that are not found in the average garden centre
I’ve cut back a lot of my collection now days , at one stage I had 60+ different plants which I got by going to annual begonia shows or visiting a grower / breeder of them in Queensland .
Mine are not the tuberous type that flower and die , mine are Rhizomatous begonias bush type or canes ( tall growing )
We are not allowed to bring any plants / cuttings / soil / wood / or fruits / Veg into South Australia from any other state , however I could buy plants in Queensland and have them posted to my home address …..which I did with the very tiny plants I purchased in Queensland …
I’ve cut back on heaps of Begonias now days ( had them under my 14x 4 mtr back verandah )
Photos to large to post be back latter
