Jewell, your hellebores are absolutely gorgeous. They all look like magical flowers from a fairy tale, they're so pretty! I wish it was possible to grow them indoors. It's my dream to have them in my living room!

Oh I love these hellebores but I can't grow them for some reasons. I saw them on my church's ground, but my soil isn't compatible with them or some thing. The flowers also face down so it is hard to crawl on my hands and knees to take pictures of them in public :)

The reason the flowers face downwards is to keep the rain from washing away the pollen.
They like a leafy well drained soil in the shade of deciduous trees. The best time to move them is when the soil begins to cool down. They form new roots at that time of year.
I tend to prop the flowers up on the leaves to take pictures where I cannot get a snail's eye view.
