I just received a rooted ginger plant with 3 leaves and about 1-1 and a half inches of roots. I'm in Southeast Coastal Georgia and the temperatures have been in the mid 90s and look to stay there for awhile. Can I plant the ginger in the ground now, or wait till the fall? Also, some websites say full sun others say shade. I have both areas available. For the folks who have grown ginger successfully, which will do the best?
