Hi! My mom would like to have a greenhouse in her garden. However, I read also about polytunnels and hot-beds. Which are the best? Have you got one of them in your garden? My mom would like to have it for planting some veggies and fruits..Maybe some flowers? She also was thinking about prepering such greenhouse/polytunel/hot-bed on her own. Is it hard?

Well overheating would no be the problem it is here in Alabama. It should be straightforward . How cold in the winter and hot in the summer would you expect it to be on average?

A poly-tunnel is the easiest to make, but a greenhouse is the most comfortable to work in. Both help extend the season, and a greenhouse can be heated to extend even more. I have not heard of a hot bed, so I can't compare that......
