I have a rear counter-rotating tine Craftsman and a Mantis. The rear tine tiller is much easier to use than a front tine and great for new ground, amending, or weeding, it really breaks up the soil. I only use the Mantis after my plants get bigger and the rear tine will not fit without damage to the plant.
