Hi, thank you for allowing me to join this forum. I have this palm in the garden. Not sure what it’s called. I think it has suffered from recent frosts. It’s been in place for around 12 years, I normally cut large palms when they become too big as they can spike our postman.

Generally quite mild weather here in North Devon. What can I do to keep this alive. Should I cut down the dead bits of the palm leaving the palm half the size or remove them altogether? Or remove the outer ones and leave the inner new growth palms, or just leave them and hope it recovers. Any advice appreciated. Please see photos. Thank you.

I would cut off the dead all brown fronds .
just trim the brown off the green ones ,
and count on the new growth to come in soon.

once it fills in cut off any fronds not perfect

Before you remove anything make sure the danger of frost is over. If you remove the stems you will stimulate the new growth. The new growth is very tender and will damage easily from a frost or freeze killing the plant. After the very last frost prune the fronds off.
