Good evening, we have a pear tree that has yielded great fruit in the past
Last year we got no fruit as the frost got to it
This year we have protected the tree and it is in full blossom and looking good
My question is, as the weather is forecast to turn cold again can we recover the tree to protect it from the frost or should we leave it to the elements

Regards

There is no clear cut answer here. The damage level depends on stage of the bud / flower and the temperature you hit.

Here in the US Michigan State University has compiled a table with temperatures and % damage or loss at different low temps. Naturally, they are still using Fahrenheit scale.
