Free Arbor Day Trees

I just received my 10 free flowering Arbor Day trees. They look like 8 inch sticks. How long do you think, I should wait to plant into the ground? I currently have them in small pots. Three Eastern Red Bud, three white Dogwoods, two Sergeant Crab apples and two Washington Hawthorns. I am planning to donate some of the trees to some local parks, when big enough.
