I'll try one not in a curry so I can give a better report of what it tastes like :D

No staining on the hands like the red ones, and doesn't make your wee go pink :D

LOL! I've never grown the yellow beetroots but buy them pretty much every year. (For those in the Midwest, Meijers always has them by fall.)
They are fantastic roasted, not quite as earthy-tasting as the dark red ones. I've also pickled them.
Beet greens are also tasty, I never throw the greens away.

I give the greens to my mate for his 70-y-o tortoise.
Apparently they make Tommy frisky, especially with my mates shoes.
The revulsion at putting my feet into wet shoes has just reached new heights.

A frisky 70yo tortoise! If only the shoes had legs of their own. They wouldn't have to be too quick to make a getaway.:confused:
