I have a Golden Pothos that has been growing wild in my house for years and I just decided to do some cutting on it as the vines had leaves at the very ends and in closer to the pot while the length of the vine itself was bare. I have since put the leafy end pieces in water to root and am now left with the bare vines. I was wondering, if i bury the vines in my garden with what few leaves are on them left above the soil, is there any chance that they would grow successfully?

Pothos is pretty tough so I am guessing it will grow. Where in the US do you live? Or what is your USDA zone? That information is pretty much essential in order to answer your question.
