Eggs or something on the soil

We're new to gardening things here. I'm curious about this egg-like things. Are these bad for soil/plant? Because our plant seems to not grow well enough. It's kinda sad because my mother spends much time for gardening.

That's what I thought. Suggest breaking a few open. If moist and gooy then perhaps eggs. If powdery, then more like fertalizer.

I think yours are some kind of seeds, as they have what appears to be a little ''eye'' or growing point on them. I wonder what was previously grown in that pot ??

Insect eggs usually appear in more of a formation like this

Having blown the image up as much as I can I would agree, they do have the look now of some sort of seed about to grow. Interesting to see what happens.
