Good morning all!

I just noticed strange eggs all over the stems and petals of my petunias. They are around the size of sesame seeds and there are a bunch of them. I believe there were insects similar to fungus gnats around the plants as well. The plants are overall perfectly healthy and flourishing. Does anyone know what these could be?

Thank you!

Is there an easy way to get rid of them?
Yes there is. You can kill many of them by spraying with a forceful stream of water but you do not kill all of them. The best way to kill them all is to spray with Spinosad Soap. You can get it online or at any real nursery. I am not sure if the big box stores will carry it but they probably do.
