Its late April here in Lebanon. Normally we can start planting vegs but this years been very cold and wet. Snow yesterday April 21! I hear its 26 Celsius in London!
Normally in my town at 1000 masl the last possible snows are in March! The daisies has opened the week before ...but then it snowed again.

The solar panel blogs pay attention to the ebb and flow of solar activity since it affects their solar panel outputs. This chart just shows measured sunspots per year as a way to show the pulse of our star. Its not hard to see the patterns. I waited to plant my garden this year because I expected lower germination temps. @Chuck brought the germination temp charts up, and these ideas were out on the web to pick up if you looking for a heat source prediction for your plants at the time. Interesting material, and kinda creepy too.

I agree it's definitely global warming. Once again here in the UK we've seen unusually warm weather in April -the hottest Easter on record in 70 years in fact. The bluebells have sprung early here which is both a delight and a worry.
