I’m running out of room in my garden but my friend just gave me two eggplant seedlings. Can I squeeze them in next to my tomatoes or should I dig up a new spot to put them? How much space is enough for two plants? I’ve never grown it before.

Two feet between them is probably enough space...but a little more if you have it. It does really well in containers also. This one produced about 10 pounds of fruit.

Thanks! I decided to dig up a new little spot for them instead of trying to fit them in my beds.
