Lately, I have been thinking about getting a dwarf citrus tree for my patio. I'm in an apartment with a small patio that gets a lot of sun. My grandmother was telling me about her dwarf Meyer lemon tree, but I have no experience with anything bigger than my arrowhead vine.

What would I need to know about taking care of a dwarf citrus tree? How often should I water it? Are there any options that'd work better than a lemon tree? Lemon is generally my least-favorite citrus. What size container should I get, and should I be worried about the tree getting too tall? The patio has roughly an 8-foot ceiling over it, but it gets a solid eight or ten hours of sun per day, depending on which corner I put it in.

Thanks!
