Clementis flowers or plant

I've had clementis plants for years, this year I planted 3 more, 1 red & 2 white, don't know the names, used same soil, same fertilizer, same flower box but, the red is growing, the white are not, cut back, always looking for new growth, nothing, any one have a idea what Iv'e done wrong?, thanks jesrry

Tough question... I've grown both and noticed that the white seems to do better in partial shade.
