Changed some of the Christmas lights, the red berry ones on the pergola next to the garage were quite old and several were no longer working. Lights are so cheap these days. Total cost of three sets, (one from last year) £29.

This is with all the lights on. But only the fairy lights are on now and then only between 6.00pm and midnight. Though we'll turn them all on in the evenings from Christmas Eve to Boxing Day. and again on New years Eve. I like to make the effort, it's a cheerful aspect from the lounge for my wife.

A lot of houses in our road have big displays of Christmas lights on the front. But I prefer just to make a token gesture. Our garden lights can't be seen from the road.

Wow! Those are incredible! I live on a boat and we put up a Christmas tree made of lights, but nothing compared to this!
