I want to use the pots that my bulbs are planted. They have all stopped flowering and I am a bit impatient. I know you should leave them alone until leaves have gone brown. If I dug them out and hung them in my shed by the leaves, would that be okay?

Find a carboard box that fits the clump. lift them out of the pot, then put box outside somewhere. They are used to being outside. You should not need to dig them out, just roll the pot some on its side, should loosen up for an easy lift out.

Thanks for the advice. Will I be able to dig them up in autumn for repotting?
