I’ve had my ponytail palm for about a month now, and it’s had cracks in the trunk since I first got it. I didn’t think anything of it at first, but I later saw some bugs crawling into it which concerned me. Under further inspection, I found a few small round holes that I’m assuming are from bugs as well. The only suggestion I’ve gotten for this so far is beeswax, but after some googling I’m not sure if that’s a great idea. Does anybody know what I can do about this, or even just any potential damage that could happen?
